Shortly after I started Paprika Marketing, I wrote a blog article called “Why I’m not on Facebook – Yet“.
Nearly 2 years on and I have finally set up a Facebook page.
So why now?
Well, I’ve been thinking about it for some time now. I’m using my personal Facebook account more – having recently relocated, it’s great for keeping in touch with friends back in Yorkshire. And as so many of my clients use it, it’s easier for me to stay up to date with the latest changes if I’m actually using it myself.
But what finally made me take action was wanting to test out Facebook advertising for the webinar I’m running next week.
So, here it is – the Paprika Marketing Facebook page.
If you’d like to pop over and “Like” it I can promise you lots of online marketing tips, links to useful articles and hopefully some good discussion about search, social media, blogging and more. Having set it up, I will be updating regularly and using it actively.
I still stand by what I wrote 2 years ago – you need to prioritise your marketing efforts. So I’ll be reviewing the results from Facebook over the next few months before deciding where it fits in my overall marketing activities. I’ll also let you know how the advertising works for me (or not!).
